Meet The First Lady

SHARON G. RICHARD

Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Sharon obtained her Bachelor's degree in accounting from Fairfield University and her MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business. As a Certified Public Accountant, Sharon has held variety of positions of increasing responsibility. She is currently the SVP & Chief Financial Officer for K. Neal International Trucks, Inc., a Black Enterprise 100 ranked company. 
Sharon committed her life to Jesus Christ in 1993 at Carter Temple CME Church, Chicago, IL. Upon moving to the Washington, DC area in 2001, she joined and served in various ministries at Miles Memorial CME Church. Sharon served on the church's Steward Board, the Missionaries and the prayer team. Her passion for missions led her to participate on a mission trip to Kenya in 2010 and for the last several years she has led Haiti mission's trips. In 2017, she was honored as the church's woman of the year. In 2019, Sharon along with her husband, Pastor Ernest, decided to step out on faith to plant this branch of Zion – Power To Stand Outreach Ministries in the Washington, DC area. With the launching of the first service online on New Year's Eve – December 31, 2019, Sharon further expanded her commitment to serve in order to fulfill God's call to all of us to be unwavering in our commitment to share the Good News of Christ to those that may otherwise be lost that they may participate in the joy of a relationship with Him. In 2020, Sharon graduated from the Hand of God Biblical Institute. She is currently working to become a certified Missions Mobilizer as part of the NAAMC. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6…Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will keep your path straight. Sharon's love for Christ and strong prayer life keeps her centered and focused on sharing the love of Christ with others. She loves travel and time with her family and friends, especially her husband, children, grandchildren and god children.
